life's quirks

Life has it's quirks, but God's in control, yes?

I thought since I haven't posted in quite some time, I might bring you up to speed on what's happening in my life.
I'm staying in Bonners Ferry for a while. That's the main point. I'll be working up here & saving up & making plans on what to do next.

My mom had foot surgery last week, & so I've been helping her a lot & taking over her duties at the church. It'll be nice to live at home for a while & not have to worry about school. I might be taking some online courses, but who knows?

Right now, I'm just placing my life in God's hands & He can do whatever He wants with it.
I'm okay with that.

I'm so excited, I'm skipping WW

I'm so excited about what I'm going to show you today, that I'm not going to bother waiting until tomorrow.

I need it to be THIS December!
At least this gives me time to re-read the book, yes?

it's the little things in life...clicking the sparkly red heels

Now that I'm finally done with this semester (yay!!!!), I'm excited to head home tomorrow morning. I'm not excited about the time since my flight leaves at 7:35 am, but hey, I'll be home.

I'm all packed and ready to go. I have a huge suitcase that thankfully is under 50 lbs. But now, for the real deal:

<3 finishing exams <3 getting good grades on said exams <3 The Mummy <3 The Mummy Returns <3 Fruit Ninja <3

I love fruit ninja....of course, now I've set my high scores so high I can't beat them & it's depressing when I only get a 360.

<3 late night conversations <3 blowing up planets with my plasma globe app <3 Diner Dash <3 finishing a book series <3 rain <3 a new fireplace app  <3 basketball practice <3 helping Brit dye her hair blue <3 a new flashdrive <3

he's just so cute! my friend gave him to me for Christmas.

that's all for now folks--

WW: "Snobbery"

by Chelsea Pine

Pink hats, purple coats
Yellow scarves, orange gloves
Red neckties, blue skirts
White vests, green shoes.

Flowers dressed to the stem
Each color a brilliant accessory
Aiding in their quest for selection
Among the ratty crowd.

Carnations and lilacs
Daisies and tulips
Roses and remember-me's
Hydrangeas and their leaves
Conquer those ugly weeds.

WW: Jen Campbell of "this is not the six word novel"

Jen Campbell is a blogger/writer/poet that I discovered a few months ago. I love her writing style & since it's December and Christmas is fast approaching, I thought I would share her website with you....

....especially to check out her most recent post on the weird things customers say in book shops around Christmas. Some of them will make your jaw drop in astonishment.

I also love Jen because she's in LONDON...

....& she works in a bookshop!
Seriously, if you're a fan of London, writing, & funny people become a fan of Jen Campbell. right now.

a revelation & a request

I'm sorry I've been rather MIA the last few days, I've been working ahead on schoolwork and trying to figure out what to do with my life.

As some of you who read my blog may already  know, I'm leaving school after this semester. I simply can't afford it right now. I've been looking for a job that could sustain me for a few months so I could stay down here after break and coach my team before heading up to Idaho to work until next Fall.

The job search hasn't been very fruitful. A small job that I thought I had fell through, I have another possibility but I won't know until after Christmas for sure, and there is another option that I have that isn't really an option because of some personal issues.

I'm asking for prayer.

I have to figure out what I'm doing with my life. I'm trying to decide whether or not I want to come back to school at all in the Fall or if I just want to work so I can save up to go to Europe. Or, if I do want to go back to school in the Fall, if I want to go to Providence or not. I have to decide if I'm going to put aside my desire to coach and not try to stay out here for three months or if I'm going to do everything in my power to be here for my team.

On top of that, I have exams next week and a crap ton of papers etc.

So I'm really really really asking for prayer.

I have not a clue what I'm doing or where I'm going with my life and I need God to help me out.

If I don't post for a while, I hope you'll forgive me, but I see myself being quite busy for the next few days/weeks.
