how banana chips saved my life

I'm a "snacky" person. I like snacks and I like snacking. A lot. Especially when I'm writing, blogging, reading, watching a movie, or doing anything where I'm sitting in one position for a long period of time.

With this whole cleanse thing, there aren't a lot of things that are on the list of approved foods that could qualify as snack foods. Thankfully, last night when Britt and I were shopping for our healthy foods, I bought a bag of banana chips. I love those things. And they qualify as snack foods.

So now, when I'm hungry and getting a craving to eat something, I have banana chips. They have saved my life. Otherwise, I'd be getting way off track and that would be really bad since it's only the first day. But, I can do this. Britt is holding me accountable, but it's times like these where she's in her room and I'm in mine that it's going to be a problem.

Today was a pretty boring day, if you couldn't tell. I slept til noon, had breakfast, went with Danielle to get her oil changed, came back and took a nap with Danielle, then went to a makeup rehearsal for drama. Then there was dinner, and after dinner I went to check my mail. I got a letter from Charlie (yay!) so after I read it, I went to the library to return some books and write a reply. And now I'm in my room blogging. Pretty uneventful.

Tomorrow is Student Development Day, so we don't have classes. I do have practice at 7 a.m. though. Then sessions for S.D.D. start at 9. It's going to be a long day, but I think I'm skyping with Charlie tomorrow night, so it'll be good. I might even skype Julie too! I'm excited about not having Spanish. I'm not sure what to do with my Tuesday night!

Well, I'm going to get caught up on my TV shows (I'm two week behind) and possibly skype with Julie tonight. Have a good night all!

with love from Pasadena,

  1. Salted Almonds just saved mine in the exact same way. :P

  2. Banana chips? You hate bananas! The deprivation of sugar and fat is obviously causing an halucinogenic effect.
